The HotBox comes with a 9kg gas bottle for your convenience at a cost of $30.00 per 9kg bottle.

The Hotbox is not designed to be used as an oven, but for heating food once plated or in containers ready to serve from.
Max temperature: 200 – 220 degrees
The warming oven uses bottled gas so if you must use it in a sheltered or semi-enclosed location, ensure the area has substantial ventilation to the outdoors so that fresh air can enter and combustion gases can escape.
All pricing is inclusive of GST and based on our minimum 1-3 day hire rate.
Longer hire rates, Damage Waiver, and Delivery & Collection fees are additional costs. These will be calculated by the Betta Event Hire team once you submit your quote request.
Minimum Hire Requirements
- Warehouse Collection: Minimum hire value of $75.00 (excluding the Warehouse Preparation & Handling Fee).
- Standard Delivery Area: Minimum hire value of $350.00 for deliveries within approximately 40 minutes of our Kilsyth warehouse (excluding delivery and collection charges).
- Extended Delivery Areas: Minimum hire value of $800.00 for deliveries requiring more than approximately 40 minutes’ travel from our Kilsyth warehouse (excluding delivery and collection charges).

Operating Instructions
Ensure the unit is positioned on a flat, stable surface in a well-ventilated area.
• Connect the gas bottle securely and ensure the gas is turned off before connecting.
• Once connected, slowly turn the gas bottle on.
• Open the Hotbox door.
• Press and hold the ignition/control knob in while lighting the pilot flame (usually using the igniter button or a lighter if required).
• Continue holding the knob in for approximately 10–15 seconds after ignition, then release slowly.
• Turn the temperature control to the desired heat setting.
• Allow approximately 20–30 minutes for the Hotbox to preheat before placing food inside.
• The unit is designed to keep food warm rather than cook food.
• When finished, turn the temperature control off and shut off the gas bottle completely.
